The Grind Never Ends

So if I'm not grinding for rep/faction I'm grinding for gold.  Driel needs a suppa fast flying mount.  The one she has is too damn slow and she hates it.  Chala likes to rub in that she can zip around on hers.  Driel gets mad and reminds Chala that she (Chala) can't kill stuff without help.  It's a big jealous mess.  So, I've been doing all kinds of dailies.  It's nice to be able to do them without needing help from someone.  I'm really enjoying my priest.  Sometimes I find myself thinking "Chala who?" but I do miss the healing.  I'm hoping maybe when the new expansion comes out there will be some new raiding opportunies.  Hopefully by then Driel will have her suppa fast mount.  I guess I have a goal!

Faction/Rep

Grinding for either one sucks.  

Dailies

I am such a dork.  I logged in this morning, even before I got ready for work, just to do my cooking and fishing dailies.  On Driel, my shadow priest (face melter in training), I need to get my suppa-fast flying mount.  In order to do so I need $$, and lots of it.  I've sort of started the painful grind.  I have 800 gold, I need 5000 gold.  *dies*

It will happen.

Mini Pet I Did Get

So the bug farming was driving Demonsfury insane, and I pretty much didn't have the patience to farm the drop that someone else might snatch out fro under me... so I farmed up Sporegar rep and got myself a Tiny Spore Bat.   It didn't take long, and I made some money picking up all the crap and selling it.   Now I'm farming rep to get a Riding Talbuk.  That rep grind is very slow going and pretty evil.  I'm not making as much money, and there is more competition.  Oh well, it's not like I'm raiding so I have plenty of time to farm up really odd rep for twink things.

Captured Firefly

I want this.  Instead of cooking and fishing, which I still need to finish leveling, I was on a mission to get that.  I did play some alliance, but shhh don't tell.  

I don't really have anything else to say.  I have been blissfuly brain dead the last few days, and loving every minute of it! :)

Fishing and Cooking

So I decided I needed to level Driel's fishing and cooking (you know, for all that not raiding she does).  I forgot how evil that process could be.  On one hand, it is nice to level them up together.  On the other, it takes FOREVER to level fishing.  I just trained Master, so I have 75 skill ups left in each profession and then I can cook and fish just for pleasure.  Ha ha ha ha ha, ha ha ha ha ha!

I Know My Elfy Loves Me

Because tonight he needlessly PvPed with me until we both thought we might go insane!  I finally got Driel to 70 (also with Elfy's help) and now she is level 70 with crap gear.  She doesn't have a raiding guild home, so the only way to get better gear (for what?  The expansion I suppose) is to PvP.  Actually, I want to do two person PvPing with Elfy but need better gear.  I'm passable (barely) in large PvP situations, but before we run around as the Double D's I need to gear up a bit.  Tonight was the start, the honest start, of that whole painful process.  I guess it's nice to have a purpose when playing again.  And a character I can actually do things with other than just heal.  Look out Arena, the day of the Double D's are coming!

A Little Part of Me Just Died.

There are a few people I keep in touch with from my old World of Warcraft raiding guild.  One of those few people has a blogger that I read, oh, just about ever day.  But today, when I made my merry way to Furious Cognition I was greeted with this.  I think it's pretty clear what I thought of this movie.  In fact when Elfy and I were at the video store this weekend the biker couple we ended up trailing behind as we looked at titles were talking about how incredibly terrible this movie was.  I believe Mr. Biker told Ms. Biker that it was a festering pile of crap.  We agreed.  To learn that my pal Zcepter (I should have known something was off when he changed Scepter to Zepter) thought it was "Gold baby.  Pure Gold."  Scepter, if you are reading this my eyes are sad, and I'm just a sad panda.  We are going to have to discuss this sometime on vent.
