Flying Away
So in the land of WoW I finally got my epic flying mount (with much thanks to my elfy/demonsfury). Now I can (and have) start my epic flight form quest. Now I get to start the grind for rep so I can run an instance I hate in heroic mode. I'm still in shock about the money I once had and how quickly it went away, lol. The thing I love, and hate, about this game is there is always something that needs to be done. Money needs to be made for the raiding repair bill, there are a ton of different rep/factions you need to work on, and of course there are the vanity items. I think I need to go back to bed.

Gaining an epic mount is nothing more than a dismal reminder of how much crap you put on hold in order to grind gold for said mount: faction, running heroics for badges, faction, professions advancement, faction, grinding gold for other purposes like enchants, faction, PvP, faction. You get the idea? The never-ending grind is the worst and most hateful part of these games. Raiding is a blast; the rest of the game you can have.
Several people have asked me how my grind for Netherwing faction is coming along. I haven't even started and I won't start unless somebody holds a gun to my head and threatens to pull the trigger. I might just let them pull that trigger in order to avoid that hateful and useless grind. I hate those mounts anyway and I especially hate the Alliance fuckwits who use them to swallow up NPCs to prevent anybody else from getting close to them for turn-ins and the like. The ones who do so and then go AFK are especially irksome and I know there's a special place in Hell for each of them.
Woot, grats on your epic mount!
